The accommodation at La Fontenelle Chambres D'Hotes is lovely and situated in an excellent location with a beautiful setting. the breakfast is absolutely superb, and the staff is amicable and welcoming. the beautiful triple room features down pillows and a very comfy bed, ensuring a great night's sleep. Guests can also enjoy the nice pool and the convenience of onsite parking. Everything was perfect!

Reasonable base for 2 nights. Immaculate hotel units with a king size bed. A lot of excellent food. Enjoyable overall experience.

I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a microwave, central heating, and an iron. I enjoyed watching the swimming pool from the window. the hotel was in a stunning location, just a short walk to an island and Cognac's vineyards. It also had a beautiful setting.

This place was mind-blowing! From the jaw-dropping location to the super friendly staff, everything was perfect! The rooms were cozy and well-equipped with amenities like a free parking, electric kettle, and Wi-Fi. The seasonal outdoor pool was a great addition, allowing us to cool off on hot days. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, with a mix of French and Sri Lankan delicacies. We had a fabulous Sri Lankan dinner here too, which was an unforgettable experience. The whole place had a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere, and the price/quality ratio was excellent. We felt completely at home and couldn't ask for more.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel. The old farmhouse was filled with beautiful vintage furniture and cozy details that made me feel right at home. The general areas, like the yard and outbuildings, were simply delightful to explore, taking me back to a simpler time. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff was always there to assist me, ensuring my comfort and making sure I had everything I needed.

Honestly, there wasn't a single thing I would have asked for to make my vacation better. The children working there were so attentive and accommodating, I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay.

Spent my Xmas in a B&B in the French countryside and It was lovely! the hosts were friendly, and the food was great. Loved the cozy atmosphere of the farmhouse, and the chickens were entertaining. the pool facility saved me from the summer heat, and the surrounding vineyards were an excellent spot for walks.

The B&B was located quite far from any shops or restaurants, making it challenging to make some last minute Christmas shopping. It was a bit disappointing not having a variety of food options, and I was not very fond of the Sri Lankan dinner.

Didn't like swimming in the outdoor pool. Who wants to splash around in refreshing water on a hot day?

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in the French countryside. The location was stunning with beautiful vineyards all around. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of delicacies to choose from.
